QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: How far are the condos from the Airport?

A: Playa Turquesa is 15 minutes by taxi from Punta Cana
International Airport (PUJ)

Q: Where do we pick up a taxi at the Airport?

A: As you come through customs in the arrivals hall, follow the
crowd round to the left through a walkway/hall,
where you will find numerous Tour Company Desks, and various
local taxi drivers shouting out for taxis ($35-$40)
We suggest a personal pick-up from the Airport to take you to
your accommodation (Cost $35) Not only does this ensure that you are not charged too much, but it helps me to be prompt and waiting for you at the condo as the driver will alert me how far away he is with you at all times

Depending on time of year/we can also arrange a grocery stop for you on the way to the condo at the larger, less expensive Jumbo Grocery Store, for the drivers wait time for you, this will cost an additional $10 USD

Q: Where can we pick up a Hire Car from?

A: There are several Hire Car Desks at the Airport. It is cheaper
for you to reserve online in your own country
prior to travel. Dont be surprised if they add on extra fees when you get here, or indeed have no car available especially over Holidays

Q: Do we need a Hire Car?

A: If you are staying in Playa Turquesa Ocean Club, or the neighboring El
Cortecito/Los Corales area then no car is necessary.
Everything is within walking distance. And if you want to
venture further afield, there is a little local bus that stops
right outside. This bus will take you to Palma Real and San Juan Centers for just 40 dominican pesos – so not even a buck

Reverse Osmosis System. The water is safe for cooking and
brushing your teeth etc. All our condos come with electric water
coolers for your comfort/taste preference. Replacing the 5 gallon
